hi 2012, bye 2011

its the last day of 2011 and i had a super good day with friends and family even though i'm half way dying while typing this. =) but still, its worth. =)

went out with one of my close friends and had bubble tea with her. =)

was thinking to have kimchi don for quite a long time and so i suggested her to order one since she loves kimchi but then, we were regret for making the order cause it wasn't tasty. :P

the friend of mine went for rebonding session earlier today and so her hair looked abnormal a bit. xD not too abnormal for me, cause i think she is cute.

she is cute, isn't she? =) the friend of mine was cool enough and we shall have a special date tomorrow about prosperity hamburger. hopefully we can make it. =) thank you very much for being with me all this time. =) 

last but not least,

my latest picture. gained weight, i know. i'll try to work even harder to lose weight but today cause i'm very tired. =)

talking about new year, do you have any resolution? everyone has at least one but i've none. heh.

was having the replacement holiday of Christmas and so i was having fun making noises at my mom's kitchen yesterday which caused terrible fight. LOL

guess what did i do? a kind of Thai dessert but i've got no idea what is it called. =) its easy i think cause everyone else can make since i made it. =)

they called it fake pomegranate and i made it with water chestnuts. dying water chestnuts with some rose syrup, coating the water chestnuts with potato starch and boiling it with water. after all then serve with coconut syrup and coconut milk. easy, right? =) make it if you feel like eating and can't get at your place! =)

i told my sister that i made fake pomegranates and my sister asked why didn't i make it with real pomegranate since we've got a few kgs of skinless pomegranates at home. heh. my sister is noob, isn't she? :P hahahahaha. yes, i know she is reading, so what? :P

not too healthy to be eaten and so i'll not make it often cause my supporter can't afford eating. =)

getting really tired and wondering if i can step on my gym bike later. miss dating my bed even though i just got up not long ago. =)

Water Chestnuts

bought water chestnuts yesterday and had fun dating them today cause it is Christmas and i left office earlier. =)

talking about water chestnuts, its kind of  troublesome peeling the skins but they are too tasty to be eaten, so, yea, i took a very long time to peel the skins off. ngek ngek.

i don't know much about Christmas and i don't celebrate Christmas but still, merry Christmas to people who celebrate it! :)

冬至 ♥

it's "冬至" again and so i went to my ah ma's house to make glutinous rice balls again. it was the first time for me to make the "dough". =)

mommy got up earlier to cook the rice balls for prayer's stuff and i got up for pictures. hehehehehe. thank BUDDHA cause i've the chance to be in home to take pictures of them. =)

happy 冬至, people. =) so, have you eaten glutinous rice balls, yet? =)

greeted my Chinese friend "冬至快乐", and he asked me what do we eat for "冬至". i told him that we eat glutinous rice balls and he told me that they don't eat glutinous rice balls on "冬至" but "饺子". isn't it weird as it is a traditional festival and we celebrate in different ways? hehehehehe. guess, he had cultural shocked. hehehehehehe. different culture from different places like my lecturer told earlier, i guess. =)

life seems to be good but then i've too many things to setttle down and i learnt many new things. thank you, people for giving obstacles and chances for me to learn. =) i appreciate everything and i'm trying to be a better person. =)

one thing to note down before i go off to cycle. i've to check the battery of my camera everytime i go out cause my battery died when i was taking pictures when we were making glutinous rice balls last night at ah ma's house. =[ its not something cool as it died at important times. =[

went to work with the DSLR of mine cause we've bought new storage boxes and i felt like taking pictures for them and got laughed by the uncles of mine. =P~

the 2 boxes i stole and kept in my car. lol.

talking about my camera. my boss complained that my compact camera was lousy and the other boss of mine said that he has a better camera for me. thank BUDDHA, i don't have to buy a new camera since i'm too poor for a new camera. =) oh well, DSLR is way better than the any other compact camera that i wanted to buy, i think. =)

its a Nikon 40D. looks okay, not the best but still enough for me, as a lousy photographer + blogger. =) it is because i'm not good in taking good pictures.

thank you, anyway, gg. =) i'm so in love with the "new" camera of mine. hehehehehehe.

papa went to work today. he rang me up to ask if i want some "meat" as side dishes for lunch. told him that my mom cooked tom yam and asked him to control the types of food he buys so that we don't have to eat that much since we're fatty and guess what, he bought side dishes, kuih for tea and dessert. isn't that too much for 3 of us in the house? xP

its my papa's lunar birthday and so i got up earlier to make meatballs for my papa. :)

Ching Ching's 22nd Birthday

its Ching Ching's 22nd birthday and yea, we celebrated it earlier again cause the birthday girl went Kuala Lumpur for Jacky Cheung's concert.

this cute little princess is my only sister and she is perfect to us. she might be lazy sometimes but then that's her right because she is younger. =) i love my sister. :) berry much. hehehehe.

people went here and there and so i've got some souvenirs from them. =) let's see what did i get from my beloved. =)

saw a recipe online and told my sister about Taiwanese barbecue sauce and then she bought one for me. =)

got some cherry tomatoes from my auntie who went Cameron Highland. =)

people said that they've bought nothing and still i've got something from them. its all about luck cause i'm lucky enough cause they love me. they'll get nothing for me if they don't even think of me when they travel around, right?
